FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…

Adaptive Re-use of the old Saskatoon Transit System building

CBB Ltd. is working to acquire the former Saskatoon Transit Buildings at 321 Avenue C North in Saskatoon from the City of Saskatoon. CBB Ltd. proposes an adaptive re-use development of the 42,000 SF existing buildings, new construction of a 30 unit multi-family residential building, and a 5 unit commercial building on the North portion of the land. CBB Ltd. is working with the City of Saskatoon to rezone the current land to Mixed Use Zoning by Agreement. City Council will make the final decision on the sale in the 2nd quarter of 2024.

The Caswell Bus Barns project is an adaptive re-use development. The main goal of the project is to provide the South Caswell Hill Community with a unique mixed-use building that supports local arts and culture, provides common space for the community, and offers affordable housing perfect for students, seniors and artists. The established community of Caswell Hill is highly invested in the outcome of this property and the goal is to enhance the neighbourhood by providing a vibrant hub for creative culture, shopping, and community amenities. A few units remain for sale and can be viewed on the CBB Ltd. website: www.caswellbusbarns.ca.
